THE REGION OF HUÉSCAR

The region of Huéscar is the biggest in the province of Granada. It is a large extension of territory in the north of its geography. It is surrounded by impressive mountains, such as La Sagra, which is nearly 2400m high. This region has a total of 20.000 citizens distributed among the six towns that make up this region: Castilléjar, Castril, Galera, Huéscar, Orce y Puebla de don Fadrique.
