It is 1 km from Galera. It is located on a promontory on the left bank of the River, and is accessed by the cemetery road. It belongs to the Andalusian Network of Archaeological Sites, and shows the original urbanism of a settlement of the Argar Culture (Bronze Age). He has received the National Award for Conservation and Restoration in 2005. Together with the Colegiata de Santa María in Huéscar, he was chosen, at the beginning of 2008, as one of the 7 WONDERS OF GRANADA.
